Measuring displacement and strain fields at low observable scales of complex microstructures still remains a challenge in experimental mechanics often because the combination definition images with poor texture this scale. This is case for cellular materials, which local phenomena can occur. The aim paper to design validate numerically experimentally Digital Image Correlation (DIC) technique measurement samples geometries (i.e. presenting multiple random holes).
